Original inspiration came from friend and spoon carver Derek Sanderson. Made as a gift to flatter but suprised us both - Combination of thick and thin forged steel with a bellied, convex edge. This knife likes to dig and can work in deep or shallow shapes as well as shrink pots.

Hammer forged UHB26c3 with honest satin grind and brutal inside hollow. Bevel angle approximately 27 degrees. Delivered sharp and ready to use but extraneous polish and extra fuss is purposely avoided. Each handmade blade carries unique marks from its making.
